The conference dinner will be held at De Duif ("the Dove"), a recently restored neo-classical church in the centre of Amsterdam. This elegant building on the Prinsengracht was built in 1857 and is a national heritage site. You will be able to register for the conference dinner for an additional fee during the conference registration. Chartered canal boats will be available for travel from the conference to the dinner venue (the cost is included in the conference dinner fee). See the menu here (pdf).
The borrel (Dutch for "drinks") will be held at the Amsterdam Museum, located in a spectacular building on the Kalverstraat in central Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Museum features the Amsterdam Gallery, a covered street leading from Begijnensteeg to the museum, which features art from 1530 until the present day. The borrel is included in the registration fee.
