Symposium submission guidelines

Submissions are welcome from scholars in all relevant disciplines for symposia of up to four talks and one discussant or five talks. Symposia including more than one discipline are particularly encouraged, in order to facilitate cross-disciplinary exchange. Each talk in a symposium will be allocated 15 minutes, plus 3 minutes for questions.

In order to propose a symposium, you will need the names and affiliations of the symposium organisers, a symposium title not longer than 15 words, and a symposium abstract not longer than 250 words. An individual can submit only one symposium (but can be a co-author on several papers); symposium discussants can also give a separate talk. The abstracts to feature in the symposium should be submitted by their respective authors.

All symposium proposals will be subject to peer review by an international scientific committee; accepted abstracts will be published in the conference program. The deadline for abstract submission is 12th of November 2018 (AoE). Notification of acceptance decisions will be communicated in February 2019.
